Weekend

The outdoor rink by our house is filled so we had to try it out.  Charlie realized how spoiled he is skating at the indoor rinks.  It wasn't in the best shape but he still had fun.

 We went on a holiday lights cruise.  We found some cool holiday glasses to see the lights with.  They turned lights into gingerbread men, snowmen, Santas, etc.  Super cool!

 Charlie practiced at goalie for the first time this weekend.  He said it's boring so he will be glad to be back to the action positions again.  We'll be glad to be back to hauling just the normal crap around again.

Little Holiday Baking

The kids helped me bake for a bit before going out to play in the first big snowstorm of the season.

We made Grinch cookies and traditional Chex Mix.

Hat Trick!

Charlie got his first hat trick at his game today!  He was super pumped about it.

Raffle Winner

Claire sold raffle tickets for a fundraiser at school.  She was one of four kids to win a prize.  Of course she put all her tickets in the American Girl doll and it paid off!  So lucky!

1950's day

Kindergarten had a dress up day for the 50th day of school.  It was a fun having Claire at the same school as me today!

Another Hockey Post

This kid is all about hockey- just loves it so far!

He was little nervous about how rough it would be but after the last game he told me that kids were shoving and fighting for the puck so he did, too.  Go get 'em Charlie!
