Charlie and I went to schedule pick-up at Mayo. He got his student ID, we stopped by the Spartan Shack to get a hoodie and then walked his schedule.
I seriously cannot believe it. Freshman!
We had a nice, relaxing time in Sturgeon Lake. We fished, swam, played cards and just spent time hanging out on the lake.
Charlie and his teammates played their last RYBA game today. Charlie has played since he was in kindergarten (10 seasons!). We'll definitely miss these days and the families that we met through the years. I'm sure we'll see some of them during the high school years but it won't be the same. So it was a good day but also a sad day. We had lots of good times and are taking lots of memories with us.
Go, Spartans!
We tried out the new mini golf spot thanks to Carly and Lindsey! Charlie obviously wanted to win but was beat by his Dad.
We did a little hiking at Frontenac, stopped for some fishing and then had cold treats. This was the first state park hike and first pup cup for Gussy.
A walk and his first swim in Cascade Lake. Oh, and a new fence he will probably hate. Welcome to backyard prison! Well, at least until he can't fit through the neighbor's vinyl fence gaps.
Charlie started Driver's Ed! He's taking the online course, which is 30 hours. He has 90 days to complete it and then it's on to behind the wheel.
