The Seasons Have Begun...

 Charlie is 9U (9th grader) and Claire is playing with 9U (7th grader).  The season has started super cold and windy.  It can only get better from here OR I'll be going broke buying heated blankets, chairs, vests and whatever else makes it more enjoyable.

Both kids pitched at the exact same time and both teams won the season openers.  Charlie was at Mayo and Claire was in Albert Lea.  Most games are in opposite home/away places.

Spring Break

 Sure wish the weather was nicer besides a couple days!  The kids had practice most days, but we went to see the Wild practice. Otherwise, it was lots of running the kids back and forth to Mayo.

Easter Sunday

March Snow Day

 We finally got our first snow day for the school year in MARCH!  We got around 17 inches followed by a blizzard.  Snow days are the best days, especially when they're tagged on to a weekend.

Official Teenager!

 Claire celebrated turning 13 by having some of her favorite things over the weekend- sushi, pad thai, bundt cakes and Costco pizza. We went to see Hoppers at the theater and she had her traditional sleepover with her friend, Brynn.  She's anxiously awaiting her new iPhone17 which should be arriving today.

ONE!

 Gus just makes life better.  HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY to our little ball of happiness and energy.  He loves all the simple things- being outside, walks, food, new toys and being around his people.  We love you, Gussy Bussy and Fleury!

Valentine's Weekend

We had the traditional heart pizza, some Caesar salad and made the viral pickle dip (yum!).  The weather was so nice, so we made lots of time to be outside and hang out in the hot tub.

Surprise Visit

 Carly flew (or should I say fell?) into town for the weekend and brought the new puppy, Xena!  Best surprise!  The cousins (canine and human) all did great together.
