We went canoeing on the most PERFECT day of the summer and then camped at the land in Choice on Saturday.

The Fair

It was SUPER hot, but we went to the fair early so it wasn't busy at all.  Charlie liked looking around the Midway and feeding the farm animals.  He couldn't have cared less about the game you see in the last picture!  I've wasted $5 on worse!

Here's the finished product!  So far we canned 16 quarts of dills and 5 quarts of zesty dills.  Next up?  Russian dills and sweet refidgerator pickles.  YUM!

The Weekend

 Charlie played a little softball with Dada.

Since we couldn't have a fire when we camped last weekend (too dry!) and we bought all the supplies for smores, we made some in the microwave.  Still good!
