Y-Tots Camp

Charlie went to his first summer camp this morning.  He has it all week.  When I picked him up today he had no idea what he did there.  Money well spent!

When he starts preschool at Bamber he will be going to the preschool at the Y two days a week so it will be a nice introduction to the place and the teachers there.  He seemed happy when I picked him up :)

Fair

We took the kids to the Olmsted County Fair today.

A Big Day!

Charlie got his first hearing aid today. It was so cool when the audiologist turned it on. He was so happy! We had to stop at Cherry Berry and then stop to show Aunt Barb.

Dennis the Menace

See the resemblance?  I mean, as far as behavior goes...

Nick called Charlie Dennis the Menace the other day and I'm still laughing about it.  The kid can't go 5 minutes without getting into trouble of some kind.  Someday I'll laugh about this phase, right?

Frisbee Golf

We went to play frisbee golf today.  Claire is either teething or has a little bug of some kind.  Thanks to Tylenol she felt good enough to come along!

Story time

Quarry Hill had a nature-themed story time under the pavilion this morning.  Can you find Charlie?  He loves wearing the t-shirt that he made :)  I was proud that my boy who never stops moving could sit through the whole thing!  After, we went inside and fed the fish some minnows.

Hambone

We had a good time at the Hambone Music Festival last night!  The kids had fun running around and chasing barn swallows.  Charlie met a friend there.  When Nick went over to check on them Charlie said, "Dad, this is my girl."

Berne Wood-Fired Pizza

We went to have a wood-fired pizza for supper and listen to some music.  It's definitely a fun place to go with your family and the pizza is really good!
