Charlie, Claire and Eli went trick-or-treating around our neighborhood.  Claire's favorite part was handing out candy.  She chased kids down with candy and said, "Ween!  Ween!"

More Fire Safety

A fire truck came to Bamber Valley for the preschoolers and kindergarteners today.  The kids love this day!  Charlie got to give the firefighter a high-five (he's in the center with the blue vest on)!

Fire Station 5

We went to the fire station open house tonight.  We timed it just right because we got to see a call while we were there!  However, Charlie was just about able to hold an axe (which he was SO hoping for) and the bells rang for the call.  The firefighter had grabbed it off the truck and was about to hand it to him when the call came in.  Maybe next time!  He will just have to make do with his swords, guns, bows are arrows, and whatever other weapons he has around the house.  Nick is just hoping we aren't raising a serial killer...

A Good Baking Day

Charlie and I braved the cold and windy weather and went to Sekapp Orchard again.  This time we bought apples to make apple pie since I just purchased the best kitchen gadget ever- an apple peeler/corer/slicer.
