Arghhhhh!

This story was told to me by Charlie's teacher.  It happened at Y-Tots during a bathroom break.

Charlie: (playing with his eyes in the mirror) Ms. Katie, I have a big eye and a little eye

Ms. Katie: Oh really, why do you think that is?

Charlie: (pointing to his little eye) Because I smack myself a lot

Ms. Katie: Oh...

Charlie: Do you want to know what I call it?  My pirate eye!

Maybe someday he can tell people he was in a sword fight or something.  Obviously our "you were born with it" discussions aren't sinking in. Again...impressed by his imagination and NOT his listening skills.

Astronaut

We checked out this book from the library.  Lots of interesting information about astronauts, including that they wear diapers during lift-off and their journey into space.

Charlie at the park, "I'm floating with my diaper on!"

Glad no one was around.  That one would be fun to explain.

Little Shopper

Claire helped me shop for a couple items.  She is a champion shopper and hair twirler!

Spring Break

It's over today- but it's always a nice taste of what life will be like in 9 weeks.  We're excited for summer vacation around here!

Easter playdate

Bike ride to the bridge and throwing rocks into the water (they could've spent hours there)

We went to a few parks since it was so nice most of the week

Claire got her first haircut by a professional. She sat nicely while she got a trim and some bangs and then got a snack when she was done.
