House and Moving Updates

We're still waiting on the finishing touches - paint, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and carpet.

All of our stuff is moved thanks to some very dedicated movers!  Claire was one sick little girl so I took her to the hotel while some awesome family members finished moving all our stuff to the garage and basement of the new house until it's finished.  Until then, we're staying in a kitchenette suite at the Towneplace by Marriott.  It has a pool, breakfast is provided every morning and I hardly have to clean anything! Not a bad deal at the moment!  This life isn't bad at all when I don't have to clean up puke every half hour and do lots of laundry because of it.

A special thanks goes to Devon and Rosemary for taking good care of our furry family members while we ride this out.

I'm reminded that we have some great people in our lives who are willing to help us when we need it the most!  Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!

Sekapps

It was a fun morning at Sekapps!  We picked apples and bought some mini pumpkins to decorate Charlie and Claire's rooms.  We used some of the apples we picked to make an apple pie.  Yum!

Tweite's and Football

We spent the morning at Tweite's and Jarrett's football game.  It's a perfect day to be outside.  We love fall!

Another School Year Begins

Charlie started his second year of preschool and I'm still in kindergarten.

Artsy Fartsy

We found some blank canvases when we were cleaning out our storage cubby.  The kids had fun painting and they have big plans to hang them up in the basement of our new house.

Tang Soo!!!

This is Charlie's first spar.  He tests on the 26th to see if he's ready to get some stripes on his belt or upgrade his white belt.  I told him he might be a white belt for awhile because Mr. and Mrs. Yennie make sure he's being obedient to his parents before he moves up (which is one of the five codes of Tang Soo Do).  Please prove me right!

House Update

It's ready for flooring, cabinets, trim, and paint!  The driveway will be done this week.  Still hoping it will be done on time!

Packing up

We are still going through things and trying to get ready to move.  Charlie was super excited to find a bunch of old school baseball stuff and Claire was just happy playing with my wedding stuff and some blocks.

I caught her holding a book up and flipping pages while she was dancing and listening to the same story read aloud by the author online.  Proud teacher mama, here!
