Memorial Weekend

We had a fire in our new fire pit last night.  We spent the morning at Whitewater today.  We hiked up to Chimney Rock, played and found snails at the swimming beach and had a picnic.

Beautiful Day!

It's National Kids to Parks Day so we went to Quarry Hill. They had a nature-themed scavenger hunt, fishing on the bridge and a fossil hike.

We also stopped by the Transportation Fair.  Claire tried out the big school bus and they both took a turn on the garbage truck.  I love how Claire is checking herself out in the mirror!  

Goggles

I ordered some swimming goggles for Claire Bear and they were delivered today (love Amazon!).  She was so excited about them that she had to wear them to play at the park.

She's ready for summer!  16 days left of school and we are FREE!!!!

Planting Day

We planted some vegetables and herbs on the deck today.  The kids helped shop and plant their first fairy garden.

Sniff, sniff...

We had a Kindergarten Preview Day at Bamber on Friday.  Families and students were there for about an hour.  Two other kindergarten teachers have their kids coming too, so we had to take some pictures.  These kids have played together since they were babies.  I can't believe Charlie will be a full-time student in a few months.  Time flies, that's for sure!
