Father's Day Weekend

Dan, Nick, Travis and Jacob went golfing on Saturday. We all grilled out after they finished and the kids played on the slip n' slide.  Today we spent most of the day outside at home and went to Whistle Binkies for supper.

Charlie's eye procedure went really well.  They took him into the operating room at about 10:30 and they brought us back to see him at about 1:15 when it was finished.  We were there when he woke up and he did awesome!

We're home now and he still hasn't complained about being in pain or feeling nauseous.  He has to go back for a couple appointments tomorrow morning and they'll take the bandages off then.

 We got him a new stuffed animal (Nick the "sly fox" from the movie, Zootopia) to take with him for the procedure.  He even got a matching hospital band!

We went to a class at Sargents and met some friends at Quarry Hill for a picnic and a short hike.

A Hot One!

We went to the camper and stayed the night on Saturday.  It was super hot and humid, but good to be back on the first official weekend of summer vacation!  Lots of fun and good memories are ahead of us!

Last Day of Preschool

Charlie is officially done with preschool.  Kindergarten, here he comes!

Jurassic Quest

We got some complimentary tickets to Jurassic Quest thanks to Grandpa Dan.  There was lots to do and see.  I thought Claire would be scared but she wasn't at all!

Twins Game

We went to the Twins game with some friends yesterday.  It was fun until the rain delay in the 6th inning.  It was Claire's first Twins game!

Kinderball

After watching "The Sandlot" 3,746 times, he is living the dream!  Charlie got his uniform and hat and had a little team practice tonight.
