Claire learned to ride her bike without training wheels today!  So proud of her!

Basement Progress

We're working on painting.  Bathroom tile gets done today and trim and doors are next.

Girls Day!

Charlie is going to SACC in the mornings this week so Claire and I took advantage of our girl time yesterday.  We shopped, got our nails done and had Chinese for lunch.

Wet + Muddy = Fun

We went to the Kasson pool with some friends and then checked out the Dodge County Fair.  We stopped to see Taylor and Pearl, got a couple snacks and rode rides at a VERY muddy and smelly fairgrounds.  It was fun for the kids and successful for me because I didn't puke.

Twinsies!

Just a little muddy...

Old Time Baseball

Charlie's t-ball team practiced with their sponsor, The Roosters.  The Roosters follow baseball rules from the 1860's.  Charlie was impressed that they don't use baseball gloves and he was super proud when he caught a pop fly with his bare hands.

First Timers

They all did great flying for the first time.  It helps that the flights were only about an hour and a half!

CO Cabin

We stayed in a cabin in the mountains.  It was in Nederland (about an hour west of Denver) and it had a hot tub, which was a favorite part of the trip for the kids.  My phone miiiight have went for a swim, too.  Oops!

CO Trip (Day 4)

We went back to Rocky Mountain National Park.  We hiked around Bear Lake and then up to Nymph Lake.  We also drove Trail Ridge Road to the highest point in elevation (12,183 feet).

After that, we went trout fishing in a stocked pond in Estes Park (tourist trap!).  Needless to say, fish were caught (6 to be exact) and lots more could've been caught except we had to pay $1.25 an inch.  We got to see a guy clean the fish and took them home to eat.  Everyone (except Nick) tried them for the first time.  Charlie and I ate some, we bribed Claire to eat a microscopic bite, and Jacob ate the most.
