Field Trip

Claire went on her first field trip today!  The preschool classes went to the Red Barn Learning Farm.  I wasn't able to go with but this cute picture was shared with me.  Claire said she liked the donkey the best.

Future Teacher

Things overheard when Claire was playing teacher after preschool today...

"Amen, and amen."

"And God loved us"

"Now, look at your teacher, she's reading a book."

"MOM!  Get out!"

Wedding

We went to a wedding and then camped for a night since it was so close.  Tiffany and Jaxson came from WI so it was fun to see them and spend time together.

More Basement Progress

The bar floor is done, the cabinet doors are in and the fireplace has a mantle and hearth.

 Now, all this stuff needs to be put up!  We're so close to being done.  Can't wait for all the white dust to be GONE!

Fishing

Charlie caught three little ones and he was pumped about it.  Any fish caught means Charlie is happy!

Basement Progress

The bar and bathroom vanity are almost done!  Next up? Fireplace, trimming and bar floor.

We picked out a toilet at Menards this weekend.  Another thing off the list!

Little Ballerina

Claire started back at dance.  She's going to The Dance Lab this year and she was super happy that her neighborhood friend, Aurora, is in her class.  It's a ballet/tap combo class.  Claire is very excited to use her "clippers" (tap shoes).

Soccer Game

Charlie played in his first soccer game today.  He likes to guard the goal and dance around the ball instead of kicking it (but he did get a few good kicks in).  GO DEFENSE!

Labor Day Weekend

We camped for a night.

Butterfly

Rosemary found a monarch caterpillar when we went looking at the farm a couple weeks ago.  Today it came out of the chrysalis!
