Hikety Hike

We went to Carley State Park today.  Charlie found sticks, slashed stuff down with sticks, threw things, smashed mushrooms, climbed trees, found trees cut down by beavers, and ran all over.  Claire tried to keep her kitty purse clean, begged for snacks and asked where the park (meaning playground) was the whole time.  Typical hike for the DeFrang kids!

Soccer, Dance and Fishing

Charlie had his first soccer game of the season on Saturday.  He scored two goals!  After that, Claire went to dance and then we went fishing.  The fish were not hungry- we caught nothing!

Spring

We can't get enough of this awesome weather after being cooped up all winter!  We've been walking, biking, flying kites and playing baseball.

The Weekend in Photos

To say we were happy for some nice weather so we could be outside is an UNDERSTATEMENT. 

We went to the re-opening day for Quarry Hill (the remodel looks great!), stopped at Scheels Fish Fest, went hiking and found a geocache, had a picnic, and cleaned out the garage.

Thursday Adventures

We made some cupcakes in the Easy Bake Oven, went bowling and played laser tag, then ended the day having Chinese food at Hunan.

Easter Playdate

We hosted a little breakfast/egg hunt with our friends.

Staycation

We spent a night in a hotel so we could hit up a pool and hot tub during a spring break snowstorm.

Easter Weekend

We had to try out the new Eggmazing egg decorator.  Super easy and no mess!

We went to brunch at Forager and then went to the farm for an egg hunt and some horseback riding.
