Charlie's Track and Field Day

Nick went for the afternoon and I stopped out for the last event.

Charlie got 7 blues, 4 reds and 0 yellows ("Mom, I didn't get any yellows because those are the worst.")

Memorial Weekend

Charlie's 1st grade passion project came to life!  The guys worked hard all weekend and almost got it completely done.  The kids talked about adding some solar lights, a zipline and a tire swing.  Charlie cleared out lots of trees and weeds to make it nice, too.

It was a hot one so we found ways to cool off.

Claire is all about getting rides on anything.  Here she is getting a ride from Caden.

Weekend

Charlie's teacher, Mrs. Carlson, came to his game just in time to see him score.  She is the best!

Claire completed another year of dance.  She's excited for her recital in a couple weeks.

Field Trip

I took the day off to go on a field trip with Claire and the RCLS preschool classes.  We went to the library for storytime and then to Silver Lake Park for a picnic lunch and some time to play.

Master of Disaster

RCLS Field Day

Nick spent the day with Claire and cheered her on as she competed in events.  They also went out to lunch, visited the book fair and got a snow cone.  What a lucky girl!

Color Run

We did our first family color run on Mother's Day.  Good times!

Kindergarten Preview Day

Claire got to spend time in a kindergarten classroom.  She listened to a story, read some books and colored.  She loved it!  She even got to see a neighborhood friend in the bus lines at the end of the day.  She is so ready to be done with preschool and be a kindergartner at Mom and Charlie's school!

LaCrosse

Nick and I took a day off work and went to LaCrosse to hang out.

Granddad's Bluff

Riverside Park- the statues reminded me of Charlie, Claire and Bella

The Old Crow restaurant- super yummy!
