Cross Country Skiing

We spent a perfect winter day on the Quarry Hill trails.  The kids did really well for their first time!

Once Charlie got past falling, yelling and throwing his poles he was all about it.  Claire was asking when we could go back on the way home.

Dissecting an owl pellet that we impulsively bought at Quarry Hill.  Someone was pretty excited about seeing what was inside...

School Stuff

Claire was learning about polar animals.   She got to see what it feels like to have skin vs. blubber in cold water and compared her height to an emperor penguin and a polar bear.

A teacher sent me this gem!  Charlie has been really excited to be a big buddy to a kindergartener.  So far he's played games and read to him.  So cute!

Polar Plunge 2020

A group of Bamber Valley totally tubular teachers raised money for the Special Olympics and took the plunge on Saturday.  The water was a cool 33.8 degrees but the sun was shining and it wasn't too bad!

Parents vs. Kids

The ice wasn't in great shape since it was 45 degrees but the kids and parents had fun playing a little boot hockey and going out to Buffalo Wild Wings before the Superbowl.

Check out the goalie!

House Progress

Tile is done, cabinets are in and they're trimming and painting next.

My most favorite part is still that beeeeeautiful and functional corner pantry.  Yes yes yes!

Wild Things

Claire, her friend Claire and I went to a K-1 night at Bamber.  The theme was "Where the Wild Things Are".  There were free books, stories, crafts and even some animals from Quarry Hill.  The girls mostly just had fun running around and being wild things though!
