Is this over yet?

The novelty has worn off, we've all spent a little too much time together, school just got cancelled in-person for the rest of the year and summer activities are being called off left and right.  This is in addition to job changes and our house not selling.  I need a vacation and we can't go anywhere!  COVID19 is pretty much THE WORST.  I'll be one happy camper when this is all over and we can try to return to a normal life.

Not whining about doing IXL!

Another day? Another fort.  This is why we can't show our house with 5 minutes notice.

We escaped- petting dead fish, hiking and coming home with boots filled with water made for a nice little getaway

Claire has been learning how to paint nails.  She did her own and painted mine a pretty pink

Nicktoria's was the restaurant of the week

First watermelon this season- Claire helped cut it up

Watching junky youtube videos

Windows open!

Back at Quarry Hill- stalking a bass in the pond, climbing trees, hiking to the Quarry and finding a rock maze this time

I mean, who doesn't go frisbee golfing in their Christmas dress?!

At-home learning continues- no one is a fan of this new normal.  Charlie played some games and did yoga assigned by his teachers to break it up yesterday.

Quarantine Continues

Since there's no end in sight we're trying to do what we can to keep busy and stay sane at home.

Camping inside- gotta have s'mores and dill pickle chips just like real camping

Decorating and dyeing eggs

NickDonalds was the restaurant of the week
(this guy has actual McDonalds experience- Claire was IMPRESSED)

Distance learning- the first day was hard but we're all finding our new groove.  It's a lot to figure out all at once.

Look who finally lost his fingernail after slamming his finger in the car door!  He washed it and put it under his pillow hoping the "nail fairy" would show up.  Um, nope.  That's weird, kid.

Claire got some new roller-blades so she's been all about that lately

Practicing some baseball-  he's missing being able to play.

Rock hunting in our landscaping- not a bad haul!
