Boys Only Afternoon

 The boys went fishing today!

They "caught" a dead fish, hooked each other a few times, lost most of the bait and got wet.  The moms untangled lots of lines, wiped snotty noses, told brothers to stop hitting each other and made sure no one drowned.  They were lots of smiles so I'll call it a success!

Red Wing Tournament

The boys played their best ball in the tournament last weekend and made it to the Sunday bracket by winning 2/3 games.  They came up short but it was a fun (and exhausting) weekend. They played 5 games in about 22 hours.  That's about 10 hours of baseball.  Whew!

Soccer Season

Claire ended the season with a two goal game and then the team had a party at the coach's house.  It was so fun to watch all the progress she made this season. She definitely loves the defense side of soccer.

Mrs. Ladin (these girl's 2nd grade teacher) came to almost every game!

Summertime is the best time!

We've had a great start to summer.  It's busy with lots of fun things.

The always entertaining slip and slide...this year it was enhanced with some body wash to make it more slick.

Summer on the farm

Honkers game!  The kids got to be on the field with the players for the National Anthem and then took turns participating in little games between innings.  They got lots of autographs and foul balls too.  Fun to see the boys all excited about baseball!

Charlie got a 3 run in the park homer the next night!  There might have been a few errors to get him around the bases but we'll take it.  He was so proud!

Goodbye 20-21 School Year!

This was the longest and most challenging school year for all of us so I'm very happy that it's finally over! HELLO SUMMER FUN!

One of my favorite school traditions- the staff waving the busses off for the last ride of the year
