To say that Charlie was excited to go hunting is a huge understatement. He got his first deer on the last day of the youth hunt. It was a 4 point buck. He also shot at a doe that he missed, saw some coyotes, ate pizza and drank Mountain Dew and got lucky with some pull tabs and the claw machine without any money.
Charlie's hearing aid started acting up and was having issues connecting to the FM systems at school so he got a new one. The first one he got lasted for 8 years so that was impressive considering he was three when he got it. Surprised it wasn't lost or ruined at some point!
He picked out the colors for the ear mold, the hook and the hearing aid. I love how it came together!
We met Diesel, jumped in some leaves, Charlie got some target practice in with the 20 gauge and a couple other guns and Claire shot a gun for the first time!
For his birthday he wanted BWW while we watched The Adams Family 2. Then he had a small friend party on Saturday for which he requested a hunting theme. During the party Charlie and a friend got calls from school that they were close contacts. ANNOYING...Covid strikes again.
