Charlie got a doe on the first morning of deer hunting. Claire and I went out for lunch and went thrift shopping around town. We found a rack to give Charlie since he couldn't wait for the big buck he wanted. Haha.
Claire and I also spent Saturday at the farm. The weather was just perfect for a trail ride.

The girls lost and it was single elimination but everyone seemed ok with it since it was so cold. Claire had a good time, learned lots during the season and wants to keep playing.
We visited Big Springs (near Lanesboro) for some fall fun. Nick and I thought it might be "too lame" for the middle schoolers but they had a great time and spent most of the time in the corn pit. I spent most of the time with the dwarf goats and am trying to convince Nick that we NEED one.

I told Charlie about the "Draw the Wild" contest and he was all about entering to try to win tickets to a Wild game. He didn't get chosen as the winner but he made the Wild Facebook page. Love his picture...
Claire pitched an inning in one of the games today. She was excited and nervous before the game and then came to me after she finished and told me she wants to do it again so that's good!
We have a 12 year old in the house. He spent the big day going to the arcade, eating BWW, watching the new Minions movie and learning how to use his new phone. Happy Birthday, Charlie!
