Charlie Things

 He got his first debit card and made his first purchase from Temu which included these cool sunglasses, a jaw shaper, a hand strengthener, a silver bracelet and a cross necklace.  KILLS ME.

So, apparently EVERYONE in middle school is getting a buzz. Charlie had to have one.  It might not be the most even but it was free and lovingly cut by his mother.

He's been fishing with friends any chance he gets.  He obviously has the "how to make your fish look bigger" pose down.

Bamber Valley Track and Field Day

 It was my turn to cheer Claire on for the school-wide track and field day.  Fun but exhausting!

All City Track Meet

 The 5th graders from all the Rochester schools had the citywide track meet today.  Nick went to watch Claire compete in her event, the softball throw.

Mother's Day Weekend

The simple things made it great.  The weather was perfect, too.

Baseball

A win in Northfield!

Another win against the other Rochester team!  When you beat Teal, you get DQ. Charlie pitched 4 innings allowing only 2 runs and got 3 doubles at the plate.  He earned player of the game but wanted to share it with the other pitcher.

Soderville Tournament Champs!

 First tournament and first championship!  The boys also punched their tickets to both state tournaments in July! Charlie was absolutely exhausted after 6 games and over 12 hours of baseball over the weekend but said it was worth it for being #1!

7th Grade Band Concert

 FRONT ROW, baby! We showed up only five minutes before they started and it was like the universe meant for us to be right there.  They sounded great and did some fun and creative things this time.  One more year of the trumpet and Charlie says he's retiring.

Spartan Baseball

 Some of the Tornado boys went to see the Mayo Varsity baseball team.  They won!  I got to see a former kindergarten student play, which was fun and humbling (like, how I can I be old enough for this?!)
