Vikings Training Camp

 We spent the day checking out training camp and sweating.  Not sure how football players practice in the heat of the day.  Gross!

Sustainable Safari

 We were in the cities for baseball and this place was only 20 minutes away from our hotel so we stopped by.  If you've read The One and Only Ivan you would understand my reluctance to go, but it was a good time and the animals seem loved and taken care of.

Whitewater

 We finally got to use the state park pass.  It took about a month to get snail mailed to our house.  

We spent the day hanging out at the (questionable) beach and hiked up to Chimney Rock.  We found out the trail going down was "closed for maintenance" but we took it anyway (rebels)  A little muddy and steep without steps but we made it.  Then a little Cherry Berry before home.

Champs!

 Claire's team made such great progress over the summer season and won two games to take the championship in their bracket.  Claire played catcher both games.  It was HOT and sticky but worth it for some 1st place hardware.  Fall ball is up next.
