Catching Crayfish

Jarrett and Taylor were catching crayfish in the creek last week so Charlie came prepared with his net and goggles this week.

Camper

We went on a short hike and found some shiny rocks to add to the camper collection.

Kid Olympics

It was our turn to host our friends.  We did an Olympic theme.  The kids competed in a watermelon seed spitting contest, 3-legged race and a potato sack race.  It was a fun morning!

Tuesday Action

Candy for breakfast, messy scavenger hunts, a chipmunk vet clinic, swimming in the rain and mustard sandwiches for lunch...it must be an end-of-the-summer Tuesday!

RAC

We haven't spent much time at the RAC this summer, but it's fun when we go and see friends there.  Charlie is big enough to go down the waterslide now, so he went down about 50 times last time we were there.

Pickle Factory

We canned about 50 quarts of pickles.  YUM!
