We went to Jim and Jill's annual end-of-the-summer party. Charlie and Claire got to ride Apache and play with lots of different kids. They had a lot of fun climbing a rock pile, catching beetles and just running around together.

Great MN Get-Together
Today was our annual trip to the State Fair. It definitely gets easier as the kids get older!

Fire Station
We visited the fire station with our playgroup this morning. Summer is officially over for the teacher kids. Back to work on Monday. I will miss the laid back days of summer with this group!

Last Day
We spent our last summer day at the farm yesterday. The kids got to help feed some baby birds, swim and have pizza and cookies for lunch. We will sure miss being able to go and spend time there every week.

Sunday Funday
We went hiking at Quarry Hill, biked to the "Little Library" in our neighborhood (Claire rocked her first long bike ride!) and went to see CCR at Down by the Riverside. It was such a nice day!

MOA/I hate semis
Charlie went to an all-day sports camp on Thursday, so Claire and I had a girls day at Mall of America.
This happened on the way there (another semi incident). The truck driver was nice and used a bungee cord to tie everything up so it was drivable. I'm pretty much done with this car. It has to be cursed. I'm trying to convince Nick that this car is trying to kill me so I can get something new. He just says that I should stop hitting stuff.
