Holiday Magic

I took Claire to Janet Lang's Holiday Magic show.  She was especially excited to see her dance teacher, Ryann.  I have to say that it was well done!  I really enjoyed it and so did Claire.

Holiday Season!

The kids stayed at Grandma and Papa's and "helped" put up their tree so Nick and I could do our annual shopping trip.  We're almost done buying and wrapping gifts.  Whew!

We put our tree up and decorated the house on Saturday and went to our first movie as a family today.  We went to see Trolls.  It was so good!

Thanksgiving

We spent time with the Blaine's and DeFrang's this year.  Good food and good people make us happy (and tired)!

Blast from the Past

We have a 1950's dress-up day in Kindergarten when we get to the 50th day of school.  It was extra fun this year because Charlie got to dress up too!

Weekend with Mom

Deer hunting means a weekend with just mom.

We went to Oxbow on Saturday.

 

 We baked cookies, watched the Vikings and went for a short bike ride on Sunday.

Stinkin' CUTE!

I was very excited to dress up Charlie for his kindergarten school picture (much to Nick's chagrin).  The bow tie would be over the top, Nick said.

WRONG!  This toothless, trying too hard to smile kid in a bow tie and a plaid shirt is THE BEST!

New Wheels (Take 2)

After dealing with transmission issues with the Rogue, the run around, and terrible customer service from the Toyota dealer we ended up with a nice, green 2013 RAV4.  So far, so good!

Halloween

Charlie left school early because he wasn't feeling well.  He was feeling so yucky he didn't even care that he had to skip trick-or-treating.  Luckily his sister was a trooper this year and CLEANED UP!
