We spent the afternoon at Chester Woods. Luckily the kids have never been to the beach so they didn't care that it was fake. I like that they say, "We're going to the fake beach!"

Marquette Trip
Lindsey and I went to Marquette, MI to visit Carly and Samone. We did a little camping, shopped, went for a few hikes, played frisbee golf, had good food (including pad thai on the beach at sunset) and spent a lot of time by the lake. We all miiight have a new tattoo. Too many great moments to pick a favorite. It was a fun trip!

Farm Day
The girls rode horses while the boys played video games and darts and then rode the dirt bike.
Too cold and wet to go swimming this time. Go away, rain!

Father's Day
The boys went golfing and then we all grilled out. Charlie went for 12 holes. He was pumped about finding balls around the course (and making sure they were clean at the ball washer) and having a Mountain Dew. It sounds like he even did a little golfing!

Charlie got to be pitcher during the last game. This means he pretends to throw the ball and the batter hits it off the tee. He loved it because he got lots of action there!

Quarry Hill
The kids went on a scavenger hunt to find matching t-shirts for the summer that they got to decorate and then we had a picnic lunch together.
