Claire, her friend Claire and I went to a K-1 night at Bamber. The theme was "Where the Wild Things Are". There were free books, stories, crafts and even some animals from Quarry Hill. The girls mostly just had fun running around and being wild things though!
Hockey ALL day for us! Charlie had practice in the morning, I sold concessions for a few hours, Charlie came and played his game for Outdoor Hockey Day and then we all went to the Grizzlies game at night because Charlie won free tickets.
Charlie stayed in this same spot for the whole game and got high fives from a bunch of the players on their way in and out. Loved every minute watching the big guys!
Claire got some ice skates for Christmas and had her first skating lesson on Tuesday. She's getting used to figure skates since she's only used Charlie's old skates. She is looking forward to lessons every Tuesday for the next seven weeks.
Charlie and his team had the All-Star game last night. Claire and I helped decorate the locker room and Nick learned how to operate the scoreboard and clock. Group effort and a loss by one but it was FUN and the Penguins fans were definitely the loudest cheerers and cowbell ringers!
Charlie's hockey team got to play at the Excel Energy Center. The team and family members rode on a bus together and the kids played two games. They won both and Charlie scored a couple goals. It was a fun day!
