SNOW!

The first decent snow means we had to go and check out the sledding hill across the street from our new house!

One Loved Kitkit

I don't think Phoenix, or "Kitkit" as the kids lovingly refer to her, ever goes more than an hour without someone giving her some kind of love. Charlie adores this cat.

Charlie's First Time Hunting

Charlie sat with Nick for deer hunting on Saturday afternoon.  He loved it and they only saw a couple squirrels.

First Squirt Game

Charlie played right wing for his first full ice game with refs.  The team lost 4-2 but it was pretty fun to be back at the rink cheering on our favorite hockey player (#22 this season).

Halloween

 Carving pumpkins

Had to take advantage of Halloween being on a Saturday this year (even if we're in the middle of a pandemic).  We had spooky donuts and ghost toast for breakfast, mummy melts for lunch and pumpkin pizza for supper.  We also played some minute to win it games, went trunk-or-treating and then braved the wind to go trick-or-treating in the neighborhood.

Bonus stop...a hearse on the way home from trunk-or-treating.  Nick's friend got this somehow.  Creepy but cool!

All trick or treated OUT!  We made it to a friend's house across the neighborhood so we sent the guys back to get the car to pick us up.

Gender Stereotype Saturday

The boys shot guns with Grandpa Todd, hung out at the camper while a deer was shot by Caden, and went to the Rushford bowling alley for meat-eaters pizza.  Charlie learned about guns, shot some for the first time and played some "pull-ups" (pull tabs).

The girls picked up our new Roborock vacuum (Fred), went to the nail salon, shopped at Kohls and got a salty and sweet treat.

GREAT DAY FOR ALL!

Fall Soccer Winding Down

Claire practices right by Onna's house and was asking about her so Nick texted her and she stopped by!

This was her last game.  The team had to scrimmage each other since the opposing team had a COVID case.  She ended the season how she began- by scoring a goal! Proud of our girl.
