We drove halfway and stayed the night in Mitchell, SD. Had to stop at the Corn Palace and swim at the hotel. Then we drove the other half to our cabin the next day. We stopped at Wall Drug and Bear Country U.S.A. on the way.
On Saturday we biked part of the Cannon Valley Trail and then stopped for treats in Cannon Falls. On Sunday we checked out Skyline, went fishing/biking at Cascade and then went to see Lindsay Ell at Down by the Riverside.
Charlie and the Tornadoes wrapped up the season! Well miss seeing these boys play. Charlie is going to play fall baseball this year and then it's on to hockey.
New kittens (2 days old!), barn chores, blackcap picking, fish and crayfish catching with nets and Charlie learning to drive the ranger
We went out to eat at a yummy place in Minneapolis and then watched the Twins win against the White Sox. It was 95 degrees when the game started at 6:05. It was a hot one!
We went up to meet Sue, the organ player for the Twins since 1999. She was so nice- even stopped to take a picture with the kids and tell them that her organ was much older than their mother.
