Soccer

 Claire had her first soccer game of the season. The girls are playing on bigger fields with bigger goals and they have a referee now.  Claire got a ball past the goalie.  Super proud!

Impressive catch!

 Charlie caught a salamander at a friend's house.  Fred slept over at our house for a night and now it's living (for the time being) at his friend's house.  I guess they're calling it Rocky now.  I still think Sally Salamander was the best name.  Cute little thing when it's living outside my house.

Safety Patrol

 Charlie completed his first week of safety patrol.  He said no one got hit on his watch.  Success!

State Fair

 We ate, we rode, we saw lots of things.  Bonus: attendance was down so we barely stood in any lines! 

School has begun!

 We have a third and fifth grader!  They're both excited for school but also sad to see summer go.  Same, kids.

Farm Sleepover

 Rosemary's birthday, swimming, eating at the Hubble House, horse riding, goat riding and playing with the kitties.  Oh yeah, and the boys played hours of video games.

Vikings Training Camp

 We were glad to be back at training camp since fans weren't able to go last year. 

Golfing and "Golfing"

 Family golfing trip:  18 holes, 2 people golfing, 1 kid scrounging for other people's lost balls and both kids driving the carts. It was a fun day!
