She's back at it- Claire decided to try out this year and made the gold level. Go, Twisters!
The first game was on Thursday and she pitched. Fun to see her pitching progress since last season. She just keeps getting better.

We cleaned, worked around the house and got caught up on a lot that needed to get done. Next up will be some fencing on the sides of the house to complete the yard.
We did make some time for fun, too. Claire and I got matching jammies and went to the new Lilo and Stitch movie. Nick and Charlie stayed home and watched the Minecraft movie. Charlie also went fishing and got a Northern in a lake near our house. Of course there was hot tub time and playing catch in the backyard.
This taste of summer always makes me want to be done with school SO much!
I have about 3,000 pictures of Gus on my phone but here are a few.
He learned his first command, "sit", in about a day. Such a smartie pants!
The boys didn't win but Charlie pitched well and struck out a couple kids he hangs out with from the Byron team.
The best part? One of the coaches bought tulips for every mom and had each player give them to their moms on the field. LOVE!
Lindsey and I've been plotting to get sibling puppies for a few months. She sent me these two pictures and we hit the road for Dysart, Iowa the next day!
Charlie performed in his last band concert. He's pretty happy to be done with the trumpet after this school year.
