Mall of America

Thanks to a few gracious family members (good Christmas presents!) we were able to spend today at the Mall of America.

"The Rocket"

Charlie has attended to one task for three days now (a seriously amazing feat).  Behold "The Rocket".....

Notice the attention to detail- a kitchen area where you see his taco salad, the gum on top to repair holes, markers for entertainment and on.  Charlie has a great imagination and a talent for trashing items and our house.  I hope this leads to a successful career someday.

Body Art

"Cuyr!  Cuyr!" (color) is what we hear a lot these days. Claire LOVES to color with her markers.  While I was cutting out a few things for school this is what Claire did with Charlie's dry-erase marker.

Future Husband

Me: (not serious) Charlie, go get the laundry
Charlie: Ok, Mom! (very rarely do I hear this)

I walked downstairs a few minutes later expecting to see him sidetracked in his bedroom.

Charlie: Mom!  I did it all by myself!

He emptied the dryer and transferred the washer to the dryer.  He was sitting on top of the dryer putting in a dryer sheet when I walked in the door.

HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Now, how long before the novelty wears off?

Charlie and Claire tried out their new sleds when we got some snow on Saturday morning.
