Charlie's Buds

Charlie's neighbor friends, Jack and Tate, moved to Texas yesterday.  They will be missed because they gave us lots of peace and quiet in the house while they were all outside playing.  Charlie had lots of fun with them (they spent countless hours riding bikes and scooters, sword fighting, catching toads, playing in the water and jumping on the trampoline).  However, Nick will not miss fixing things they broke and looking for our toys around the neighborhood.

The Fair

We checked out the animals.

Charlie had mini donuts and a snow cone.

Claire had french fries.

It was a good day and I got out of buying rides because they weren't open yet!  Woo!

Ronald McDonald House

Our play group made breakfast bags to donate to the Ronald McDonald house.  We dropped them off and got a picture with the big guy.

House Progress

This is what our house looks like as of July 25th.  We took a day and picked out almost everything for it.  I'm excited about the backsplash choice.  It feels good to have a lot of our work done!

Como

We visited Como Zoo and went on some rides today.  Claire loved the rides so much that she threw a fit after having to get off of each one.  Two year olds have such a tough life.

"The Beast"

We went to Thursday's on First for some music.  Charlie was SUPER happy to see "The Beast" (from the Sandlot) was there.

Pizza and Music

We went to Berne for our annual wood-fired pizza and some blues music.  Charlie had the most fun playing in the cornfield with some other kids that were there.  I'm sure the farmer will appreciate it.
