CO Trip (Day 3)

We spent the day in Boulder.  We hiked the Flatirons, checked out Pearl Street and tried to find a good fishing spot.  We ended up going back to our cabin.  The kids still hadn't caught anything.  Colorado fishing is very different than Minnesota but all Charlie wanted to do was fish, fish, fish!

CO Trip (Day 2)

We went to Colorado Springs to hike around Garden of the Gods and then went fishing in a nearby spot.

CO Trip (Day 1)

It was a mostly rainy day, but we went to Rocky Mountain National Park and hiked the Hallowell Trail and then had a picnic lunch.

Horse Show

We went to Pine Island to watch Taylor with Pearl.  It was so fun to see our cowgirl ride and compete!  I think we got the trophy for loudest cheering section :)

The Hole

I went out for supper with some friends and Nick sent me this picture.  Today I asked Charlie about it and he said, "The neighbors are digging a hole to China." (aka putting in a basketball hoop).

Butterflies

We're waiting on some butterflies.  We hope they come out before we go on vacation!

Summer Fun at its Best

 Swimming, fishing and playing in the creek made for another fun summer day on the farm.  Charlie caught a fish in the pond!
