The Seasons Have Begun...

 Charlie is 9U (9th grader) and Claire is playing with 9U (7th grader).  The season has started super cold and windy.  It can only get better from here OR I'll be going broke buying heated blankets, chairs, vests and whatever else makes it more enjoyable.

Both kids pitched at the exact same time and both teams won the season openers.  Charlie was at Mayo and Claire was in Albert Lea.  Most games are in opposite home/away places.

First high school at bat was a walk (signature Charlie move)

Pitched 4 innings (1 run allowed, 4 strikeouts)

First high school at bat was an infield pop up

Claire made a short appearance since she hit a few batters- oopsie

Cold and miserable but they won!
